Jomtian Beach is a 6 kilometers sand beach that divides from another part of Pattaya by the hill which rises to the back of South Pattaya. When you drive over the hill, past the big Buddha and the Royal Cliff Hotel, and down into the relatively quiet Jomtien. It has a fresh air and clear water so it is popular for recreation. Here, Tourist like to go swimming and playing water sports such as water-scooter riding, windsurfing, parasailing, etc. Foreign admire to take a sunbath here too. There are a great number of accommodations and restaurants available for providing services to tourists. Jomtien has its own very distinctive gay beach, accessed by turning right at the bottom of the hill; for all other attractions, turn left.

South Pattaya Road curves sharply off from Beach Road. Community around here is called Walking Street. It leads you to various shops such as boutiques, sports goods stores, and souvenir shops. Moreover, it has many bars and seafood restaurants that are built out over the sea to make you have fascinated meal. At The beach, there are deck chairs, beach balls and beach playthings available. In night time, there also has night entertainment places and open-air stall that attract tourist, make South Pattaya to be a busier zone than another.

Central Pattaya ( Pataya Klang), where the hotels are not gorgeous like North Pattaya and the restaurants are smaller than others. You will find the beginning of Pattaya’s bar-beers, or open-air bars. Moreover, it has many tailor shop and go-go bars. There has government service such as Pattaya police station, and the Immigration Office. The Royal Garden Plaza and Mike’s Place, two main shopping malls are also located here too. There are many small lanes such as a postal service lane and mainly Soi Pattaya Land 1, 2 and 3. The tourist police office is situated on Beach Road near “Walking Street” of South Pattaya. All lanes will take you through the second road, where the bars, restaurants and small diving apparatus shops are located. You can choose to rest in small hotel or guest house in this area which offers you a lower price.

Naklua means “salt fields”, to show the main occupation of the area before the rise of tourism and industry. You will see old wooden houses and narrow streets, traditional noodle shops and working fishing boats. The old houses over the creek are especially picturesque. When you walk along the street, you can find plenty of little shops selling local handicrafts and domestic goods. But when meet The Dolphin Roundabout, the surrounding will completely change. It is the beginning of Beach Road mark the junction with North Pattaya. A plenty of resorts, hotels and restaurants are constructed along the beach road. You can saunter along the shore under the palm trees to the 2 well-known streets of Pattaya where the hotels, shopping areas, pubs and a Tourist Police office are situated.

- warm and dry (November to February)
- hot and humid (March to May)
- hot and rainy (June to October)
